Questions Frequently Asked about PERpose™
FAQ’S
Q:
What Is PERpose™?
A: PERpose™ is a clear odorless substance very similar in appearance
to water (H2O). Like water PERpose™ is made up of Hydrogen (H2)
and Oxygen (O2), however it’s the extra oxygen atom that gives PERpose™
its useful properties. PERpose™ is of great use for both hydroponics,
soil, and soil less gardening, including turf, agriculture and horticulture.
Also used as a water cleaner to remove scale in fogging applications
and irrigation systems.
Q: Is PERpose™ EPA
Registered?
A: No, PERpose™ is OSHA labeled as an oxygenator of plants and
soils with the side benefit of reducing/eliminating mineral build
up, (scale) in lines, filters, tanks mist/fog heads and cool pads.
It is against the law to use PERpose™ off label.
Q: How Does PERose™ work?
A: When PERpose™ contacts the soil a chemical reaction causes
vast amounts of oxygen to be released. This oxygen helps to loosen
compacted soil. With more oxygen present in the root zone nutrient
uptake increases, resulting in maintaining healty root systems and
increased vigor. Because plants have more available oxygen they will
be more resistant to drought.
Q:
How does PERpose™ Plant and Soil Oxygen Enhancer, compare
with other Hydrogen dioxide based products?
A: PERpose™
contains the same main active ingredient as other peroxygen based
products available in the market place. That ingredient is Hydrogen
Dioxide, also known as Hydrogen Peroxide.
Our proprietary buffers and stabilizers allow PERpose™ to be
applied safely as a soil drench through fertigation systems, as a
foliar spray over plant material and turf (including mist and fogging
applications), without phytotoxicity.
Q:
Is PERpose™ corrosive?
A: The PERpose™ concentrate is corrosive. However, once diluted
it is generally not corrosive.
Q:
Is PERpose™ the same as "off the shelf" Hydrogen Peroxide?
A: Many may compare PERpose™ with over the counter hydrogen
peroxide. PERpose™ has a proprietary blend of stabilizers and buffering
agents that allow the diluted solution to be applied into the root
zone and over plant material without phytotoxicity.
Q:
Can PERpose™
be used in Fertigation/Chemigation
systems?
A: PERpose™ can be applied with Fertigation/Chemigation systems
and can be used throughout all stages of production to maintain and
protect healthy plant roots.
Q:
Is PERpose™ compatible with other greenhouse chemicals?
A: Never mix the PERpose™ concentration with another chemical
concentrate. It will generally not be compatible with products that
have the following active ingredients: copper, magnesium/zinc, magnesium/copper
and aluminum. Mix finished solutions together to check for volatility
or apply PERpose™ before the intended chemical.
Q:
Can I mix PERpose™ with my fertilizers?
A: Never mix the PERpose™ concentrate with a fertilizer concentrate.
Fertilizer compatibility is best when PERpose™ is added through a
dedicated chemical proportioner when used in direct feed applications.
Q:
What is the shelf life of PERpose™?
A: PERpose™ will remain efficacious as long as there is nothing
for it to react with. It is important to keep the container closed
and stock tank solutions covered. Freezing will not have an effect
on PERpose™, however PERpose™ will start to break down at temperatures
at or above 86 degrees. Store PERpose™ in a cool place out of
direct sunlight.
Q: How safe is
PERpose™?
A: Used at suggested dilution rates, PERpose™ is environmentally
safe and will not harm the environment, plant and animals, or people
and is (OSHA) labeled.
Q: Does PERpose™
clean water?
A: One of the side benefits of using PERpose™ in your operation,
is that it reduces/eliminates scale build up in water lines, holding
tanks, fog/mist heads, cool pads and filters through the process of
oxidation.
